Questions
What does editorial mean in fashion?
In fashion, editorial means images made to tell a story, not to sell a specific garment. An editorial uses clothing, styling, light and setting to build a mood, a character or an idea, usually for a magazine or publication.
Who owns the photos after a shoot?
In Canada, the photographer owns the copyright in the images unless a written agreement says otherwise. At Le Café Studio the agreement says you own the finished, edited images; the studio keeps the raw files and may show the work in its portfolio.
